OEG Brake Accessories

OEG produces a wide range of electric motor brakes and with those brakes they offer accessories to further apply their brakes to the customers specific application requirements.   There are a wide variety of rectifiers for the Direct Current (DC) aka Continuous Current (CC) as called in Europe, as well as kits for wash-down IP56, and brake manual release kits.

NBRCE Rectifier

  • Half wave (1/2 bridge) rectifier.

  • Maximum Input Voltage: 440Vac

  • Volts in/out ratio: 0.445.  I.e. 230Vac in = 102.35Vdc out.

For customers who need to manually release their brake without power we offer Manual Brake Release Kits.  A fan shroud with a hole must be used to allow the hand lever to pass through.

OEG MBR kits come complete with the yoke, fasten screws 2ea, centering springs (one on each side of the yoke and each side of the brake 4 each), and screw in brake control lever.

Each size of MS/FM and FM series brakes have an MBR kit.  Sizes 02, 03, 04, 05, 06s, 06, 07, and 08 are available from TVT America.

For applications where wash-down or dust control is important we offer our IP56 and 66 kits.  These kits consist of a stainless steel mounting ring that fits to the motors non-drive flange, a rubber boot that fits between this stainless ring and brake (which has a mounting ring cut into every standard MS/FM and FM brake), and a wiper ring is placed on the rotor shaft to seal the brake and motor completely.

Each size of MS/FM and FM series brakes have a IP56/66 kit.  Size 02, 03, 04, 05, 06s, 06, 07, and 08.  Rotor shaft sizes can vary and should be measured before ordering, as the rotor shaft is determined by the motor manufacturer not OEG.   These are made available from TVT inventory in U.SA.
