Berges KRM type
double pulley & belt drive system is for lighter hp applications
where a standard V-belt can be used. The Adjusting pulley is
the KR and the Spring Tensioning pulley is the KM; together being
KRM. These are designed to work with the standard narrow
metric V-belts in the 10, 13, and 17mm widths. The same time
proven design as the RF..b is employed, but for narrower belts and
lower power. The power range is in the very popular 1/2hp to 1.5hp
range, with a 6/1 variable ratio, and speeds around 670 to 4000 RPM.
Ideal for a wide variety of applications where reliable variable
speed is desired, and cost effective ratio control for applications
from wood working tools to pumps; great variety of drive
applications is driven by the KRM.
