Berges F...s offer high performance in a compact package in a very simple to apply speed variation of exceptional reliability & service life.  To adjust speed, simply change the distance between drive and driven shafts.   The F...s uses standard A, B, C and metric 10, 13, 17, 22 V-belts for ease of use and ready availability.

Berges F..s series pulleys operate on parallel shafts between the Fixed diameter pulley and a double spring tensioning pulley "F...s".

The drive pulley operates at Motor RPM will drive the F..s tensioning pulley through the speed range by changing of center distances between the drive and driven pulleys.  These center distances can be adjusted by TVT Berges adjustable motor bases, "piggy back" motor over gearbox mounts where motor height can be adjusted thus changing center distance, as well as OEM or customer fabricated shaft center distance changing devices.

The design life of a Fs type pulley is exceptional, belt inspection is very easy, and after a long trouble free service life an v-belt elt can be changed for a new Berges or any standard A, B, C width belt in minutes.   Berges Belt & Pulley adjustable speed drive systems are used in critical applications and remote location applications for their exceptionally straightforward maintenance and long service life.  Simple, reliable, and strait up performance is often the reason a Fs type pulley is employed.  The Berges pulley systems are not the cheapest means to vary speed, but is a preferred drive system for machines that must work reliably.  Mechanical variable speed is where TVT America leads all in power transmission, and the F...s is one very important solution in our offering.
